17 . Partnership working to improve safety
- Solutions SK Ltd, Stockport Council’s wholly owned company has teamed up with Trafford Council to improve health and safety in school kitchens.
Solutions SK and Trafford Council are working together to produce a DVD highlighting health and safety issues to employees working in school kitchens.
Filming for the DVD has taken place over eight days and has been split between the two boroughs. The DVD is due to be completed in December and is designed to complement the scripted induction and task talks for new and existing employees.
Nic Cox, Managing Director of Solutions SK said: “Working with Trafford Council has been excellent for both sides to share good practice and knowledge and we hope to continue the relationship.”
