• 14 . Steelite International appoints new vice president for European Sales

• Steelite International, one of the UK’s leading tableware suppliers to the global hospitality market, has appointed a new Vice President of European Sales. After several months of working alongside the UK Sales Team targeting new accounts and improving customer relationships on a consultancy basis, Simon Treanor has now taken up the role. He joins the company following a career spanning 25 years in the hospitality industry.
  Treanor’s career began in 1984 with Bass where he managed both on and off trade sales teams, ran pubs and was responsible for trade marketing of the Bass brands portfolio. Over the years he has held a number of senior sales director roles within the drinks industry with Enotria Winecellars, Carlsberg and Holsten and also spent two years in the Czech Republic working for Prague Breweries. More recently Treanor has been running his own consultancy business, which helps suppliers from a range of industries develop their route to market strategies into varied areas of the hospitality market.
  Treanor comments: “I look forward to bringing the consumer focus I have developed from my background in the hospitality industry to Steelite International. The tabletop category is an exciting area and I am delighted to be joining a company that demonstrates such great passion, as well as expertly designed products manufactured here in the UK.”
