Three hotel properties managed by a subsidiary of Mastcraft Ltd, two of which are under a franchise agreement with the Hilton Family, have appointed Nobel Fire Systems to design and install new fire suppression systems in their luxurious hotel restaurant kitchens. The hotels are the Bentley – The Waldorf Astoria Collection, which is situated in the residential area of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, the Courthouse Doubletree by Hilton London Regent Street, which is located on Great Marlborough Street, the former Grade II Listed Magistrates Court, and the Washington Mayfair at Curzon Street in the heart of Mayfair.

The style and presentation of the three hotels may be different, but there has been absolute unity in ensuring that the safety of both staff and guests is ensured by installing the best fire suppression system available in the ‘commercial’ kitchens. All three hotels take pride in the fact that every care and attention is taken to ensure that the best ingredients are fused with international flavours to keep true to each restaurants’ philosophy. So no surprises that this same philosophy of perfection also dictated that there was no compromise whatsoever when it came to the provision of a fire suppression system. The management team didn’t want to have a system fitted that then jarred with the overall aesthetics of the kitchen. Part of the brief was that ugly pipework and protruding nozzles manufactured in cheap looking copper or brass plating were definitely off the menu.

Research showed that Nobel Fire Systems K-Series would meet all the aesthetic qualities required, and that the Company already had an enviable reputation for product efficiency and levels of service within the catering industry. Another positive as far as the commissioning team was concerned was the fact that the chosen fire suppression system could be fitted quickly and efficiently by one of Nobel Fire Systems installation teams.

The Nobel Fire Systems K-Series is now in many of the UK’s and European leading commercial kitchens, underlining its ability to provide the right fire suppression answers to the most challenging situations.
