The Inn at Lathones, Scotland has recently introduced its summer menu. The hearty, traditional dishes the Inn is famous for have been given a makeover by new head chef Richard Brackenbury. Inspired by cooking techniques from around the globe he incorporates fresh, seasonal and local produce throughout.

Nick White, owner of The Inn at Lathones, commented:
“2009 is a year of culinary change for The Inn – the new menus are starting to follow a slow-cooking theme, not just meaning that we cook slowly but that we are developing recipes and utilising produce from closer to home that is both well managed and tastes simply amazing.”

The Inn at Lathones also offers a bar menu with dishes adapted from the à la carte menu served in the relaxed comfort of the stone-walled lounge. Abundant with comfortable leather sofas and chairs, and open log fires in winter, diners can also indulge in a cocktail or an Orkney Ale served in a pewter tankard.
