Pecan Deluxe Candy (Europe) Ltd has introduced healthier products, which are lower in fat and have reduced salt, in response to the growing demands from health conscious consumers.

Pecan Deluxe’s ‘better for you’ range includes lower fat fudge inclusions, reduced fat and salt brownie pieces and no sugar chocolate pieces, which unlike other healthier alternatives on the market, do not compromise on quality, taste or texture.

These ‘better for you’ products can be used in a range of applications including bakery, cereal, frozen desserts, ice cream and as additions to other confectionery items such as chocolate.

Customers are able to not only benefit from tasty, appetizing healthier options but Pecan Deluxe also provides a wide selection of flavours and sizes - for example, the customer can use smaller 6mm size pieces in one market and 9mm in another.

The company has already experienced massive successes with its range of ingredients, which have a variety of added nutritional properties - these include, stress reducing herbs, extra vitamins and minerals.

The selection of inclusions with nutritional benefits consists of; praline coated pumpkin seeds, toasted lemon sesame seeds, chocolate coated sunflower seeds, honey sprinkles as an alternative to sugar, Siberian ginseng and camomile extract which are added to chocolate ribbon and high-fibre crisps.
