| Pilgrims Choice New Drive FOR Success Pilgrims Choice, one of the nation’s favourite cheddar brands, launches new branded lorries, as part of its recently announced £3m marketing drive to maintain brand awareness. The eye-catching lorries feature images of Mature, Extra Mature and Farmhouse reclosable cheddar packs displayed on a cheese board with salad. The five 42 ft Artic vehicles are operating from Bristol, Market Drayton, Milton Keynes and Stafford & Haverhill. Each will travel the length of the A1, collecting and delivering 3.1 million cases of cheddar and covering a total of around 75,000 miles annually. The campaign will run now for one year in association with Culina Logistics, leading provider of high quality logistical services for food and drink companies in the UK. The two companies have been working together since 2006, with Culina managing the distribution of all Pilgrims Choice produce. Hannah Fordred, Marketing Manager of Pilgrims Choice, comments: “This branding exercise is an important part of our dedicated £3m investment into a robust marketing campaign to help sustain and build upon the growth enjoyed in 2008. “We are confident that our Pilgrims Choice lorries will serve as a reminder to our customers of the superb quality and taste of our brand of cheddars, each naturally matured and graded a minimum of three times before being cut and packed for distribution.” |
