ADM launches Wesson Criterion Frying Oil for authentic British food
ADM Trading (UK) Ltd has launched a new, premium frying oil for the foodservice sector. Wesson™ Criterion offers extended frying life and enables the production of traditional fried foods with a home-cooked flavour and mouthfeel.
Consumers enjoy the rich texture and taste British fried food is known for. The latest in a comprehensive portfolio of frying solutions, Wesson Criterion produces high quality, evenly browned fried food to meet consumer demand.
Rob Winwood, technical director, ADM Trading (UK) Ltd, comments: “We developed Wesson Criterion to meet demand for high quality, comforting British fried food, such as fish and chips. Wesson Criterion is a vegetable oil alternative to animal fats in terms of taste, texture and mouthfeel. Positive feedback has been received in taste tests and customer trials and the frying results speak for themselves. Our technical expertise, the high quality raw materials at our disposal and the wide range of effective frying oils we offer allow us to help customers succeed in creating appealing, popular dishes.”
Other products in ADM’s portfolio include Wesson Green, an extended life frying oil for light – medium restaurant use, Wesson Supreme, an extended frying life oil with virtually no trans and NovaLipid TEA, a low trans, low saturate oil that produces healthier, European-style fried foods. By offering a range of options, ADM helps its customers meet diverse market demands. From healthier oils such as NovaLipid TEA, to the indulgence and superior frying life provided by Wesson Criterion, ADM is able to cater for every need.
